    • Okay. This book. Having loved the Serena Jones Mystery series by this same author, I was excited to start this one. I mean, a paramedic and a deputy? Sounds like something I would love!Unfortunately, it didn't completely cut it for me. The mystery was interesting, and kept me reading, but the final outcome was very unexpected, and didn't make as much sense as other possibilities. The romance felt rather sudden (although that was rather excusably, since the characters did have a background togeth [...]

    • 2.5 stars. This was an interesting and fast paced book, which I enjoyed. I kept turning the pages because it held my interest. . .I didn't like the focus on looks. i.e. "he's so cute, look at his muscles, oh my gosh he touched me, swoon" Just. . . STOPI also thought that the story ran around in circles quite a bit. Something happened and the characters would discuss all of the evidence and who it might be. . en something else would happen and they would discuss all of that evidence. . . again. I [...]

It'll take her high school crush to convince her she needs protection—and deputy sheriff Cole Donovan is as persuasive as he is handsome. But when his brother rises to the top of the suspects list, Cole's torn bet [...]

    • Emergency Reunion is by Sandra Orchard. It is a romantic suspense. Second chances and drug intervention are stressed in this novel. Sherri Steele was a paramedic and a good one. However, since the death of her partner, Luke Gibson, her coworkers have been distant and sometimes cruel. She blames them for the incidents which are happening at a greater frequency. Being sent to false addresses and being sideswiped by another vehicle can be tossed off as just incidents. But when she is held at knife [...]

    • This was a nice clean Christian romance. Sherri is a paramedic, struggling with symptoms of PTSD after her partner is shot and dies on a routine call. Cole is a deputy who's returned to his hometown to try and reconnect with his younger brother, an addict who is always getting into trouble. When strange things start happening to Sherri, it appears someone is targeting her with the intent to harm her. At first, suspicion falls on Cole's brother, then on Cole's partner. After all, Cole did beat ou [...]

    • Who's stalking the paramedic? Can the deputy sheriff figure it out in time? One thing I liked about Emergency Reunion is how much I liked getting to know the characters. The way Sandra Orchard wrote this book I felt like I was friends with the main characters and I could understand how they felt. Steve came back into Sherri's life and you could knew that they had one of those friendships that transcends time. It was like they were never apart. The mystery in some suspense novels is easy for the [...]

    • Intensely action-driven, Emergency Reunion is a nail-biter of a read. Orchard's imagination knows no bounds when it comes to tormenting her hapless heroine. Sherri barely has time to recover from one attack before the next comes out of nowhere. And with nary a gun fired since the villain is cunningly diabolical and downright cruel. Another product of the author's vivid imagination. There's plenty of suspects to confuse the intrepid armchair sleuth and enough plot twists to keep a reader slightly [...]

    • Painfully slowI had read another "Love Inspired Suspense" by another author prior to reading this book. Read the book in one day, this book took me three days. It was ok, it kept me guessing about who the person was that was trying to hurt Sherri. Cole has returned home to try and help his brother Eddie who is using drugs. Sherri is upset with Cole for leaving her, she thought they had something special. Cole is determined to protect Sherri from who ever is trying to hurt her and to win her love [...]

    • Circumstances bring former neighbors Sherri and Cole back together after a long separation. Unfortunately, the same set of circumstances seem as though they will break them apart forever. As the duo get to know each other again, they learn their prior attraction is still strong, but both try to fight it for their own reasons. In the interest of not giving away any spoilers, I won't say more. This story was enjoyable and quick and kept me guessing until almost the very end. I recommend it to anyo [...]

    • Another nail biter from Sandra Orchard! Sheri is an EMT - something she has always wanted to do with her life. Somehow her helping others has become a regular attack on her life. Are these incidents just random or does she have a stalker who is out to cause injury and perhaps death? Don't miss this well written story that had me wondering right up to the end – who really IS behind these attacks and are they aimed at Sheri or perhaps she is just in the wrong place……?

    • "Orchard’s latest is action-packed. She does not pull any punches when discussing some of the horrific scenes that first responders encounter daily. The multidimensional characters and plot are a wonderful example of how God can bring good from tragedy and a reminder that it is OK to ask for help" (RT Book Reviews, 4 1/2 stars TOP PICK!).

    • Maybe 3 1/2. Slightly better than most, but back to "the formula" - hunky male rescues perky female. One part was unbelievable. A police officer's brother needs CPR, and the police officer seems to have no idea how to do it.

    • Emergency Reunion is an amazing book of suspense. The author ability to keep you interested throughout the book shows talent. I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes a book that keeps you guessing who done it from the start to the finish.

    • Awesome StorylinesThis book I learn a lesson about own relationships with my Dad. Storylines is amazing good and great character development.
