    • Although I liked this adventure, I think that the best part is not the adventure itself. I really enjoyed the short story by Dave Gross and look forward to reading the next part in the following adventure. I also enjoyed the description of the tieflings and the bestiary. The adventure itself, although it is good, does not have the same compelling locations and elements as what I am used to in other Paizo products. It is only in the last part where the characters invade the lair of the Bastards t [...]

    • I'm currently running this Adventure Path for my Pathfinder group. I thought this one was a lot of fun, but I have to admit that having characters who aren't from Westcrown in the party makes it REALLY hard to have them care. The group gets pulled directly into action, and while any goodly character would take up the cause of freeing Westcrown from these shadows that roam the streets at night, I struggled with getting a few of the PCs involved. All in all, I had a lot of fun, it had some great in [...]

    • An enjoyable opening to the Council of Thieves Adventure Path. It's an earlier AP, so they were still feeling some things out - notably, I miss the long in-depth NPC pages that would show up in later modules. The story itself isn't the best intro to the overarching plot of the AP either, but it is a good party bonding experience.

    • A solid-enough opening adventure. The rules presented for running a maze are rather ingenious. A useful gazetteer.
