    • The pictures were really good but the writing could use some work. This book told pretty much the whole story of The Princess and the Frog but it jumped through the story really quickly and left out a lot of things. This book could have been better.

    • The whole movie in 32 pages. A very simple version, yet young readers will be able to read this themselves and will enjoy characters they already know and love.

    • Disney's, The Princess and the Frog: Kiss the Frog is written by Melissa Lagonegro. This book is a very simplified retelling of The Princess and the Frog. It's a beginning reader book. I think this book would be a great fit for beginning readers. If they've seen the movie it would help them with the content within the book. The audience this book is intended for are young girls. I would use this book in my classroom to help beginning readers learn to read. I gave this book 4 stars because I'm no [...]

    • What child does not like a good Disney book? I think it is great to have Disney books around because the child can enjoy both the book and the movie that goes along with it. The author did a great job of summarizing the movie in 32 short pages.

    • The plot of this Disney movie is condensed here almost to unrecognizable proportions, but I ordered this for my library because I know it will be checked out all the time by my Disney-princess-loving kindergarten, first- and second-grade girls. No doubt about it.

    • This book has a high frequency of the "F" sound. Rate of occurance: 18 times in the initial position; 1 time in the medial position

    • This is a level 2 reader. So mid level reading children shouldn't have a hard time getting through the book. It is similar to the movie but not really, although tells the same story.

    • This was a cute retelling of the movie. The little trivia questions were fun and would definitely be engaging for younger readers.
